Is Jeffreys Bay a good place for beginners ?
Main Post:
Hi! I'm travelling to South Africa in January.
I'm just starting to learn how to surf (as in foam board level). Is Jeffreys Bay a good place to look for a surf school ?
Any other Suggestions near Cape region ?
I'll appreciate any advice, cheers !

Both Muizenberg in Cape Town and Jeffreys Bay have good quality surf schools. Muizenberg certainly has more options and probably more qualified surf coaches (the surf school industry has been around for a long time there). I would recommend Muizenberg, its purely a beginners wave, whereas Jeffreys Bay is more known for its more advanced breaks. Both places also suffer from strong onshore winds for 90% of the summer. However, you shouldn't have to worry about the quality of waves. If you have any other questions let me know...

Jeffrey's - what main course to order? What to avoid?
Main Post:
In the interest of complicating a simple question... Is doing steak a must if you're a steak lover, or are the other main courses solid choices? Can't bring myself to spend more than $100 on a steak right now, so the higher-tier beef is off the table (figuratively and literally). They have two fish offerings that sound very appealing, but I'm assuming steak is the safer bet for a stellar main course. Thoughts?
Edit: thanks to all for the suggestions - had a good meal tonight with choices informed by several comments in this thread.

Gotta do steak. Split that big ribeye with someone.
In a town with a LOT of places charging way more than their product, Jeffrey's is actually worth it. Great food AND service, plus a good ambiance.

Garland Jeffreys always get's a bit overlooked. A lot of people even see him as just a "One-Hit-Wonder" because most stations just play "Matador", his only Top 40 Hit he had in my home country germany. It climbed on position 2 of the german charts achieving Gold Status.
I only know him because my mom bought his 1992 Album "Don't call me Buckwheat" only because she thought that the little boy on the cover looked so cute but couldn't get into his music. So she gave me the CD and even though I was only 11 years old at that time I already regularly listened to adult Bands simply because my parents couldn't stand childrens music.
The Album instantly claimed a place in my heart and is still today one of the works that has had a lasting influence and shape my taste in music.
Jeffreys on the Alan Cox show lol

Jeffrey's Dagger Questions
Main Post:
I read while doing research that this is probably the best stat stick in the game but I can't seem to get it working? People said you don't need the stat requirements just throw it on and two hand your main weapon but I didn't do any extra damage so I tested it and was right. Do I need to meet the agility requirements for it to start working or does having it on your hip just not work anymore? I maxed it out so please let me down gently if I wasted my time lol.

Watching this thinking this is corny as, but still weirdly entertained. Just realized it's the boxer from Ip Man 2, then found out he passed away in 2015...
